Our popup photography/videography studio includes movable partitions, a wall-mounted green screen, pull-down white background, video camera, light kit, audio recorder, light boxes, and wired lapel microphone.

Compose a song with our Fender Stratocaster and handcrafted electric guitars, M-Audio Oxygen 61 key midi keyboard, Snowball iCE USB microphone, Scarlett USB audio interface, and Garage Band and Logic Pro software on 27″ top-of-the-line iMacs.
Photo & Video Editing
ON1 Photo RAW, Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements, Final Cut Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere on our computers will make your photos and videos their very best.
Digital Art
Together with our Wacom Intuos Draw digital drawing and graphics tablet, use Adobe Illustrator and Clip Studio Paint on our computers to create original art. The Surface Studios also have CorelDRAW, and you can draw directly on their screens.

Your memories come alive when you digitize your VHS and audio cassettes, LPs, photographs, slides, negatives, and 8 mm film with our equipment.
Sewing Machines & Serger
Our six Brother XM2701 machines are ideal for beginners learning to sew and for more advanced sewers looking for versatility. Our Brother 1034D 3/4 thread serger has 22 built-in stitch functions.
Needle Felting Machine
The Janome Xpression FM-725 Needle Felting Machine can be used to adhere or combine different types of fabrics/fibers using barbed needles.

Supplies Options and Pricing
Use of the Collaboratory is free. We do charge for supplies for the laser cutter, Carvey, 3D printer, laminator, and Silhouette machines. We do not have a set price for all other materials. Instead we request a monetary donation at your discretion to cover the cost of these supplies. We encourage you to consider “paying it forward” by adding a little extra to your donation in order to balance out those who are unable to give financially.
You also may bring your own supplies for most of our equipment. Please ask us about what materials are acceptable for each machine.
