The Wallingford Library Teen Area is specially designed for teens in grades 6-12. We offer a great collection of fiction, graphic novels, and manga. We even offer Comics Plus to read on your tablet or phone. Enjoy free wi-fi, a device charging station, and 11 teen computers. Check the online calendar for a listing of programs for teens.
Laser Etched MTG Life Counters
Thursday, October 5th, 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Collaboratory
Use the Collaboratory’s laser cutter to create your own custom life counter for MTG! A template will be provided and you can customize the front design before we use the laser to etch the design on wood. Time permitting, you’ll be able to paint your life counter.
Monday, October 9th, 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Wonder Room
Make your own cute Pokémon from yarn and felt! You can turn them into keychains or just keep them as a cute decoration.
Pet Monster in a Jar

Spooky Clay House Box

Deb Jaffe will lead participants in this clay program to create a spooky house! The house makes a great decoration, but will also double as a box, perfect to store a little Halloween treat!
Teen Cuisine: Halloween Truffles

Turn ordinary peanut butter or cookie truffles into Halloween-themed treats! You can decorate them as spiders, eyeballs, monsters, or whatever spooky idea you can come up with!
Día de Muertos Activity: Sugar Skull Painting for Teens

Paint colorful designs on sugar skulls to display on Día de Muertos altar.
