Program Description

Event Details

Robert Frost was one of those rare American artists whose works have appealed to both common and literary audiences. A lover of plain spoken, Yankee vernacular, his poems have a directness that appeal to many who may find much poetry obscure, but they also contain depths and nuances that offer many pleasures for the reader who may feel more comfortable with the genre. Frost, then, is the perfect poet for both those who may feel intimidated by much poetry and for those who admire great poetry. No matter where you fit in this spectrum, please join us as we explore Frost’s world in four ninety-minute class sessions.
