Cognition is the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses. It plays an important role in our everyday lives. Some examples of cognition include learning something new, processing language, solving problems, and using memory. This presentation will provide helpful information on how we use it on a daily basis, how it changes as we age, and helpful tips and strategies for improving our own cognition. Presented by Kerryann Rousseau, SLP, of TLC Speech Connecticut. Please sign up below!
