VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON MEETING
Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann
Grann follows Special Agent Tom White and his assistants as they track the killers of one extended Osage family in 1920s oil-rich Oklahoma through a closed local culture of greed, bigotry and lies in pursuit of protection for the survivors and justice for the dead. “This is a book that may significantly alter your view of American history.” (Slate). Grann’s bestseller was adapted into an Academy Award-nominated film in 2023.
Moderated by Educator Susan Gomes. To participate and for details about meeting virtually or in-person, contact Cindy Haiken at chaiken@wallingfordlibrary.org.
