Join us to watch & discuss the 2020 documentary Screened Out! In this timely feature, filmmaker Jon Hyatt explores all the ways we are addicted to our screens and the greater impact it has on our lives. From smartphones, portable tablets and social media, the tech industry has designed these fun immersive technologies for global consumers, but are they good for us? Are we too dependent on our devices? What keeps us hooked? How is it impacting our children? Giselle Funchion, a clinical nurse and certified ScreenStrong Ambassador, will facilitate a post-screening discussion with the audience. The first 50 people to arrive will receive a free copy of the 2024 bestseller The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt to take home with them!
