In January 2025, we will observe the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, marking the end of the genocide now known as the Holocaust. Join us to hear Holocaust survivor Endre (Andy) Sarkany speak about his personal experiences during World War II and his time spent living in the Budapest ghetto. He will also discuss how he managed to survive the war, and what his life has been like since he left Europe and immigrated to the U.S. Attendees will hear an indelible story of bravery and love in the struggle against an all-encompassing evil.
